 Backpackers offer FIT travellers the chance to enjoy budget accommodation in unique local settings. Backpackers are located in a diverse range of locations from All Day Bay to historic buildings in central Oamaru to rural areas. Some larger accommodation providers also provide backpack options within their facility.

Some coach and shuttle services are happy to drop you off at selected providers while other backpackers offer their own collection and drop offs as part of the service. Our backpackers offer a range of shared accommodation options although some also have private rooms at budget rates. All provide a chance to network with other like minded travellers, swap travel experiences and learn more about local attractions and events.
