The Waitaki Aquatic Centre was opened January 1 2000 at one minute past midnight, making it the first Aquatic Centre nationwide to open in the new millennium. It is a fun, entertaining facility that caters for everyone!
The Style and Stroke Swim School has grown remarkably over the last few years from over 200 children per term to over 800 per term. We provide for children from four months through to teenagers. The Waitaki Aquatic Centre is a "Poolsafe Pool" which means we are a safe and well managed facility.
