The Oamaru Whitestone Civic Trust’s aim is to preserve and develop New Zealand's most unique collection of historic buildings into a living ‘Victorian Town at Work', creating in Oamaru and North Otago an iconic town and district where citizens and visitors can learn about and experience what life was like in Victorian New Zealand.
