The garden was created to display the Ornate Oamaru Limestone.

In 1992 the Wilson family decided to turn their pony field into a Garden Centre, open seven days a week, running for eight years.

The garden centre was run by Linda who also offered a Garden Design Service. The Garden has now evolved into a wonderful Wedding and Function venue.
