Oamaru Weaving is situated in the historic town of Oamaru.
Chantel Jones, Mike Anderson and Doe Arnot, are creating hand woven fabric using New Zealand fibre,wool or Alpaca, and a New Zealand made Mecchia loom. With over a kilometre of yarn per metre of fabric, requiring three days to set up the loom, each piece of material is a true labour of love. Doe has a wealth of spinning, weaving and dyeing knowledge and experience. Chantel and Mike are self taught sewers.
